Mornin' hunting like that for elk is tough! In all the hunts I've made like that, the outfitter/guides all say they almost never get anything on the morning hunt... it's the evening hunt that's most productive... ambush hunting is tough. easier to ambush 'em in the evenings when they are coming to feed as opposed to getting ahead of 'em as they leave the fields...

Yessir. Tough Hunting. They aren't headed to the fields til after dark so we basically don't have an evening hunt. I definitely won't book this early again.
