there are places a hog could not get to. the bark looks to be peeled, not rubbed like a deer would do. Very strange. One long piece of bark was about 10' away on the ground.

I have one exactly like it right behind my house
Stripps of bark a good ways from the tree. I dont know what caused it but it is in an area no domestic animan could get to it other than my dogs. I just figured my dogs must have been trying to climb it to get to something

Gotta buddy who owns a little over 3000 acres just out of Leakey and he has a lot of fallow running around. I've seen them with my own eyes absolutely DESTROY cedars like that. Don't know if you have any but if you do, that'd be my guess
