Bowtech assassin just crapped the bed

I don't understand how the sidewall peeled like that, yet the string is still in the groove. Looks as if a foreign object got pressed between the string and cam.

Once I noticed what happened, the string wasn't in the groove after the sidewall peeled. But I pulled the string back ever so slightly to get it back in the groove. Been a solid Friday so far 😐

Looks fine. I searched the arrow shaft for about 5 minutes because I was sure that the arrow made the sound, until I saw the cam.

I had an old ben pearson back when I started hunting 30+ yrs ago that literally blew up in my truck! Sun through the back glass heated it up, we guessed???. Worse part was it was about 2 weeks before season opened!
