Never quit. never give up hope.

I know of a few that have survived many years after treatment. Lung transplants are successful, although I've not heard of it for treating cancer. Hopefully they caught it early.

In January my GF was diagnosed with stage 4 spinal metastasis and was given 12-16 months to live. After the initial shock we agreed that she would fight like there was no tomorrow...Now, through the grace of GOD she has been classified as a low stage 3 and the 12-16 months has been taken off the table. Fight and keep fighting my friend...

I have a cousin who was diagnosed with lung cancer in just one lung. I do not know what type it was but he hadn't smoked in 20+ years. His treatment included the removal of the lung followed by chemo treatments. Five years later he's still kicking, doing pretty much what he wants and is CANCER FREE!!!
