Lung cancer

Got the bad news on Wednesday that I am now the proud owner of Squamous Cell Lung Cancer in the right lung .

June 6 th. C T Scan , upper torso .

June 28th. C T Scan , upper torso

July 12 th. C T Scan , Full Body

August 1st. P.E.T. Scan , Full Body

August 16th, Pulmonary Bronscopy / Biopsy

Got the results this week . Don't know if it has really set in as of yet since I am still in a fog and my brain has not fully accepted this yet.

Already seen four different Doctors and now scheduled to see an Oncologist next week to lay out some kind of plan . I have no idea what I will do . Seems like everyone else I knew all had a different type of cancer and very few survived more that a couple of years . Any body else out there experienced this type for death sentence .

Have not smoked in 22 years .

You have to put on your war face. You can't see yourself as a cancer victim or one of the unlucky few. You have to equate it to your house being invaded by the enemy. You can't go at it half-a%^ and "let the chips fall where they may". You have to put on the full armor of God and the full battle gear of a warrior and go to war. You don't sit around thinking about whether or not cancer will win. You make a plan, educate yourself, find good platoon members (doctors and family), harden your heart, and go to freaking war. There is no other way. Prayers for you sir and looking forward to reading the victory report.
