Looks like the Conibear is the way to go - I am going to order a couple today. Smart, I am going to steal your box idea for the attic -

Good luck....It gets kind of addicting after awhile if you have a lot of them..

Great vid! Love it! Especially when they start in with that song.

I used the Coni 110 for trapping up north when I lived there after I got married. 110 are most commonly used for muskrats, minks, ect. But I also used them on coons, fox, and possums when set right. 220 was more common for larger furs like that. But I was a poor boy back then. So the 110s made do.

ive been at war with those fury tree rats for a year and a half now. Using a .22 with aguila rounds. Puts a whompin on them. My neighbor and I have been slaying em, but they keep coming. Neighborhood is infested with them. conibear looks legit.

Wire strangle snare trap. Used well in survival school, and my grandma's attic.

I'm overpopulated with those tree rats. They were having a 'Nasty' party right in front of me recently. Later lost count when I counted 13 of them leaving the other party tree.

They damaged a roof and soffets on two separate structures.

Those have a heart traps work well. Russell Feed has some. I'd use peanuts or corn for bait. Anything sticky will bring in the ants.

8 ft python turned loose in the attic will make silent work of them.

I do them like above but prefer to turn them on their side. When the trap springs close, it "jumps" up a little so wven if they aren't positioned just right it'll still get them.
