If-n you'dav seen my mancave, aka home, you'd have no doubt about how high my T-level is, being that I'm single and all . No feminine touch around here, unless someone feminine comes to visit. And visits are only a temporary thing.

Only van you'd catch me driving. My wife's BIL got one that he's real proud of, "it has stow-and-go seats", he says. He needs to eat more red meat, needed to before the minivan purchase.

You can't fault them for that, they were prolly looking for a man with a truck.

Lol, you guys are nuts. We have a 25 mile commute, so a 13mpg Tahoe wasn't really on the list. I have hesitations regarding Chrysler reliability, but as others have said, the trim and gizmos are nice. Like Mr. Money Mustache characterizes them, it's a gasoline powered reclining luxury chair. The storage well behind the rear seat is big enough for a hill country white-tail, provided one uses a tarp to keep all the deer stuff off of the wife's van.

We had one for a couple years when our kids were small. It sucked. But it was great for hauling kids and all the crap that goes with them. It was actually a pretty decent vehicle, just butt ugly.

Put a receiver hitch on it, and then get a cargo rack for that to haul a deer.

I got one of those in 3/4 ton too. And a 500cc four wheeler, and a duck hunt-n, deer and pig haul-n, catfish catch-n river jon called "Wild Thing". My grocery store is the outdoors. I used to participate in triathlon, and was a member of an ultra marathon cycling club, so I could run critters down if needed. And used to spend very little of my time at home when I wasn't work-n OT fabricate-n metal nearly all my life. And I've had over 25 fractures in my lifetime, been in orthopedic surgery 7 times for plates, bone graphs, and plastic reconstruction, had over 145 stitches, And I don't' know how many "I should haves" ( I should have got stitches). Carry button thread in my truck for sowing my self up if needed. And have straightened out my own fingers and thumb after breaking them a number of times. So your comment is totally out of hand, Hand, since you didn't' know much about me before this comment .

Sorry for the derail OP. Some people just don't understand.

                      Carry on.

Practicality trumps coolness all day long. Heck, coolness is overrated anyways.

We bought one for my wife many years ago. Was a great van and the creature comforts were awesome.

I swore I'd never get one and was able to be true to my word. Bought a burban for the wife when the kids were young and eventually sold it. Now we both have AWD suv's and love them.

Boy, these young members just don't understand that youth and talent will always be beat by age, experience, and treachery.

                              Carry on!
