I've never even shot AT an animal further than 25 yards.
I only occasionally move my target out to 30 yards, and very seldom to 40 yards.

80 yards on a running coyote PURE luck, my son was with me he was 7 at the time. I tried to play it off for a second or two like it was all skill but even at 7 he was already calling BS before I even turned around.

Whitetail - I've shot from 3 to 28 yards
Pigs - I have kills from 2-60 yards

I won't shoot at a deer over 30 yards (that is just me personally)

I'll huck an arrow at a pig as far as I can see them.

I fantasize about going out west to hunt elk. I understand that opportunities are commonly 60-80 yards. I would take that shot.

Jackrabbit @ 71 yards; I won $20 on that one.

Whitetail doe @ 64 yards. She was wounded (looked like her left hind leg had been caught in a fence) when she came in to a water trough that I technically wasn't hunting, but could see from my blind. I took the shot because she was wounded and spined her.

Whitetail buck @ 48 yards. He came in and bedded, I waited for what seemed like forever for him to get up; he never did so I took the shot. He actually ran towards me after the hit and died @ about 15 yards from me.
