Jesse's Boots on FM1960. Best boot buying experience ever! I spent 3-4 hours trying on boots for my wedding in the retail stores around here. I was in and out of Jesse's in 15 minutes. You will not find better customer service anywhere.

I just received my Leddy's from San Angelo last week. I'm very happy with them.
I have some pretty screwed up feet and they built me a pair of round toes that are more comfortable than my Luchese square toes.

James Leddy Boots here in Abilene is another good one, Curt. James died several years ago, and some friends of mine bought it. Al Dos Santos and his family came here from South Africa. He had a very successsful shoe/boot business there for years, but after going through all kinds of violence and extortion due to the black on white political violence years ago, they pretty much left everything they had there and moved here to start over.



He makes a great boot. I'm wearing a pair of Justin ostrich boots right now that were uncomfortable and squeaked when I walked. I had Al rebuild them, and they are awesome now. My dad has some customs from Al, and he loves them. Al also makes a cool safari boot that he designed and made years ago in Africa.
