I just showed my lovely and talented wife this thread, and the PM's between brandon and Bobby...

You all have touched her heart. She was crying like a high school girl.

She asked me to tell each and everyone, you touched her heart. She said, thank you from the bottom of her heart. Thanks.

Now I have to comfort her, which is not so bad. She did give me the stink eye a couple nites ago...

We were talking about stuff, i asked if the worst happened,,, could I trade her fer a couple of 22 year old's...

That's when the stinkeye hit. She reminded me, I could not afford them,, much less handle them.

I can't wait to hear that great news that she is completely healed! We will have to travel for a celebratory get together when that happens! Keep us updated brother.

Doctors can give a diagnosis but only God knows the prognosis. Look to Him for clarity and strength. May He bless your family with healing and peace.

Sounds like a woman that knows what she's talk-n about. Better mind her.

And tell her I said "Howdy".

Tell her to hang in there. In Feb my back pain turned out to be a tumor on my spine from my kidney. Same thing, clear cell carcinoma. Tumor out, kidney out, quarterly scans. docs are all optimistic. My entire kidney was involved, so it went. Living without the kidney is easy, like others mentioned, no more nsaids, stay hydrated. Staying hydrated is my biggest challenge, as what little I am working is outside. Compared to the back surgery I had, removing the kidney was pretty easy. Hang in there, every day is a little better.

Good luck in this journey. As you can tell from all of the GS posters, Cancer touches almost everyone's life at some point. Many success stories on here to give her some confidence that there is "life after cancer"! I myself, have been cancer free for 12 years after prostate cancer surgery. She can and will survive this!

So many have posted such great uplifting experiences in this thread of their successful battles with this awful disease, it is heart lifting to read them. It is my prayer that you and your sweet wife will have just such a story to post up soon. Technology and advancements in medicine have saved so many lives. I personally believe it is pure providence of God through our Lord Jesus Christ that this happens. I am sure you and your wife will have the same experience if you lay your burdens on Him.

Lord Jesus we ask You to do a work in this dear sweet lady and use all her care-givers, technology and medicine to restore her health. Give these two who have become one flesh and manifested it into a beautiful daughter many years to walk together here on this earth as a testimony of Your power, grace and mercy. Strengthen this family through Your comforting touch. Grow them for Your Kingdom. Lord, I ask you to comfort the rest of the family and keep them strong in their faith. Make them a strong witness for this lady to lean on and be also strengthened. Guide them through this journey and bring them out of it ever stronger and ever more in love with You Lord and what through Your Son you did for us so that we indeed can come to You in our times of need. Thank you Lord for what You will do in the life of this family. In the powerful, healing name of Jesus we ask and pray, Amen.
