They just released the Dove season dates. Added more days across the board. So hopefully everything will come out soon.

Never been a big dove hunter but why is south zone opener 3 weeks after the rest? Because of numbers and habitat?

Im pretty sure it was updated a month ago with 16-17 season but ill verify

I don't have the TPWD app but looking at their website on my computer it definitely still shows the 2015 - 16 season dates.

If you are in DeWitt county join your local wildlife management program. I know there is one of Central and Western DeWitt county. Then take a deer survey and the acreage of your property and the awesome State of Texas will give you MLD tags. I got three last year. It is really easy to do. I just shoot my does in archery season.
