Why is TPWD dragging their feet on releasing the specifics of the upcoming season? Trying to figure out if DeWitt got any doe days for the upcoming season and if so, what days. A while back there was a list floating around of counties that were getting doe days that previously had none. I was confident DeWitt was on the list, but have come across some folks that say it was not.

That's the way it has been in recent years. Lease members got kind of excited when we heard that TPWD was looking at adding doe days during the general season because we are covered up with does. It is also difficult trying to let my wife and 7 year old son kill deer when all that can be killed during the general season is bucks. Mature bucks around our area aren't very common.

Pretty sure it has already been updated. Freestone county now shows doe days and we didn't have any last year. I think you are out of luck.

Had 2 smith county GW's stop by while I was fishing lake Palestine last Saturday. Super nice guys. We chatted for 10 min and one of them said we (Anderson county) was getting more doe days. Said every county except his was getting more he thought. Can't wait to see the exact number. Coach
