                    I think his racist songs and x-rated songs hurt him from being as big in Nashville as he maybe could have been. He is a great song writer more than anything else. I saw him several times over the years in concerts. I even went on his tour bus and was able to meet and talk with him. That was a very cool experience I will never forget. He was a true outlaw on the outlaw country music scene. Hell he sang the perfect country and western song. Just ask him

                      He was determined to do things his way and not conform to the brand they wanted him to wear. I bet at the end of the day he doesn't have any regrets.

                        Went and saw him at the Hall of Fame in CS back in 98. It was a good time.

                            Hell he looked like he was already dead back in the G's ice house days, and that was a long time ago. His music is good no doubt.
