It's reported that the Spurs will hold a press conference on Tuesday about Duncan's retirement.

Tim will not be present at the press conference.

Not all that surprising. Tim was never a "me" guy and never will be. However, I think it would be cool if he showed up and received all the praise that he deserves for a change. I do like the fact that he didn't have to have some kind of "victory lap" like Kobe and Jeter...

Mucho respect to 21, and the long, un-tarnished, career he had. Seems like a guy who always did things the right way with his teams interests ahead of his own. It will really be something to hear Pop speak about his retirement.
