Why couldn't you just drop the glove box cut a hole out of the evaporator coil box access the coil for cleaning then silicone a cover back in place of the hole that you cut. You have forever access right in your face.

My brother has a 2014 Ram and his just went out. He has the lifetime warranty so all he paid was $100 and the dealer fixed it. I just bought a new 2016 Ram 2 months ago. Guess I'll have this to look forward too in a few years.
