I think the dad retired and they no longer fully build trailers. They are a Tems dealer now. They do repairs and their shop is neat and orderly. I have no doubt they do quality work there. Usually the shops condition is a reflection of the work performed.

I'm definitely considering them. I like to keep my money local. They seem like good people.

I think I'm going with ranch King.... Basically a 10k GVWR trailer, built stout for 2795 + spare at 125 and a few d-rings I'm going to add on.

      I'm going with a 20'

Why not have it both ways?

Mine is a gooseneck, which you said you don't want, but it's a 24' car-hauler with ramps, no dovetail, full-length rubrails, and removable side rails.

You can get the same set up in a bumper-pull trailer as well, with lengths from 16'-24'.

I dont think you will be disappointed. i have never had a car hauler, and never once have I regretted not having one. Our Ranch King has the square tubing top rail. Only thing i wanna add is a piece of channel in the middle of the floor running long ways and ad some tie downs there. We use stake pocket tie downs which work great as well

I'm going to have them add D-rings to the front and back. They cost roughly 20 a piece he said.

I thought about this originally. There are some downsides to car haulers. 1 being empty trailer weight.

For my purpose, a utility would suit my needs better

If you are thinking tractor in the future definitely go minimum of 18-20'.

You will end up wanting two trailers as a trailer that long is a pain for the aTVs. I bought a 14' with dovetail for mower/ATV and it's much easier to use when I'm not hauling my tractor.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Our gooseneck is 20' and my Dads 40hp JD with FEL barely fits with a 6' shredder on the back. I talked him out of the 24' and now wish I hadnt. With that said its rare that we need a trailer any longer than that, and for a bumper pull 20' is long as i would want. We also have a 16' light duty bumper pull when the big one isnt needed. For a one trailer guy I honestly think you are making the right decision on a 20'.

I think it will be a nice trailer for sure.

I really appreciate everyone's input! It's helped me out tremendously. It's nice to have a place full of experience to pull from.

Had I never asked I would probably own a 16' 7000 GVWR tandem pipe top. Not knowing I should have purchased a longer one until it was too late!
