    Help deciding which trailer

So, as the title implies I'm in the market for a utility trailer.

It's basic use will be for atv's. Probably a tractor in the future and maybe a jeep or whatnot.

I'm torn between a 16'-18' pipe top utility and a car hauler. I'm just not sure which way to go.

    I need a good schooling!

What would you get? I'm leaning towards car hauler.

What are the pros and cons of each from yall's experiences?

Get a 20' min with pipe top and ramps in a gooseneck set up. If have the truck get 24' most time I wish I had an extra 2' on my 20'

    Good luck!

I have a F150... I was thinking bumper pull myself. Not planning on pulling anything super heavy

Pipe top over car hauler. Just more versatile for hauling and strapping down more than vehicles. My 18 ft bumper pull works nice, but like above, a few extr feet would be nice occasionally, especially with the tractor and accessories. Also, like above, wish i had the truck and power for a goosneck

Are car haulers generally heavier than standard utility trailers?

Doubt it. Usually metal deck, but otherwise just no rails for car doors to hit and maybe a tad wider deck.

I was looking at the maxxd c5x or c2m.

When I looked at pipe top trailers... There were not many tie down points. The car haulers seemed to be more versatile with tying down cargo. D-rings front and back with rub rails all the way down.

Look at the Ranch King trailers. A lot of features, I bought an 18' wish I would have went 20'. Only a couple hundred difference.

Go with a 20'. You can tie down any where on the rails if they are built stout enough.

Not sure of model bought it from Shoppa it looks like they have one close to you. Trailer has led lights, heavy diamond plate fenders, square rails and plenty of tie downs. Only trailer I could find that was painted on the under side, I looked at a bunch!

I'm going to look into it. Another friend of mine told me about ranch King trailers. He was going to have them build him one a while back.

Get a Diamond C 20ft trailer. Heavy duty is an understatement. They run about 5,500.00 bucks
