Look up Richard Marcinko (spelling might be off) and his series titled Rogue Warrior. Marcinko was one of the original SEALs and the series is loosely based on his escapades.

Are you an Amazon Prime member? You can add Kindle Unlimited fro $9 a month. Basically you borrow the books instead of buying them. The library isn't as wide as the regular Kindle, but I've had no problem finding decent stuff to read, usually 2-3 books a week. I tend to get immersed in series. A lot of them also have narration, great for windshield time (Which I get a lot of at work).

I haven't done the Kindle Unlimited, but have thought about it.I read several of the Marcinko books years ago, but haven't kept up with them.

This is a pretty entertaining series of books about a former special ops guy turned private contractor. Total fiction, but good reads. I think there are 6 books. Most of them have the free narration for the Kindle.
