Sorry for thread jacking...but is this how it's supposed to be done? I honestly don't know. I engage the PTO while its at mowing speed. Should I engage the PTO at a lower idle speed?

Yes, engage pto at idle speed and the idle up to mowing speed, otherwise you can and will damage gears, shear bolts, etc.

Are you timing your blades when you replace a shear bolt? They may be out of time and causing premature shear

How much is a slip clutch?

Not sure but i would call the dealer and tell them they sold you to small of a shredder and see if they will work with you on it

It only had one stump jumper pan with two blades there is no timeing on that, only if you have two pans then you off set the blades.
