Who waters there house to cool off?

Never watered the house, but I have watered the AC unit when it ran for an hour straight in 100+ weather.

i have a mist hose i am putting on the roof of my metal shop, on the really hot days i have been going out and spraying the roof with a hose, it brings the inside temp down a lot,, with the soaker hose on the roof i will turn it on about noon and leave it til about 5 just a light trickle is a huge deal

In the swamps of Louisiana the homes have sprinklers on their roofs. A lot of them have metal roofs.

Yep. I watered the roof once and didn't notice much difference. The old ac unit appreciates getting hosed down though.
