If you have not heard abot this place, go check out Ft. Grard Archery on 180 West in Weatherford. That is where I bought my Def Con 6 and I was impressed. Lots of different bows to shoot and they were very knowledgeable when it came to setting my bow up. Mounted everything and timed the cams and rest and first shot thru paper was a bullet hole. It took me no time to get great groups at 20 and 30 yards and with my React 1 sight I am good out to 100 yards.
Alvarado Archery and CCR were also great places to go and visit and shoot bows. Great folks at both and more than willing to set up different bows for you to try. Problem was neither carried the Obsession line and it came down to it or the BTX.

I can pull 70lbs still no problem but my Dr told me I should probably think about dropping down to not risk damaging my shoulder any worse. When I had to let down is when it really got me. But my shoulder has gotten quite a bit better since then but I've enjoyed shooting in the 60 to 65lb range since I worked back up to it. And I haven't had a critter tell me it wasn't enough yet either haha.... thanks for all the replys everybody! Hopefully these next days off I can go shoot a few

The best thing to do is shoot as many of the new bows as you can and then go from there. With todays technology all your high dollar bows are at the same level were as 8-10yrs ago there were only a few names that could compete in the big market. Don't overlook companies like Athens or New Breed.
