I don't agree with all he did, but he was a very entertaining fighter.

Agree with people on both sides.

All in all he was a great fighter. He was also a man. Not a perfect man. No one is.

He lost his last fight as we all will.

Grilled jalapeño and cheese sandwiches on the George Forman grill changed my life. I'll shed a tear for him when he kicks the bucket.

I agree. Not to mention he was a show boater which I don't care for.

Brother, I want you to think about that statement for a second.

I'm one of the most patriotic people you'll ever meet and I know for a fact that I'm the most conservative black dude in the world.

But let me see if I understand:

                1. I can't eat in the same restaurant as a white man.

                2. I can't drink out of the same water fountain as a white man.

                3. Hell, I can't even take a dump in same toilet as a white man.

However, I'm good enough to go die in a country by people who ever called me the n-word?

No thanks. [emoji1475] that's not "fighting for freedom" when blacks had no equal freedoms then. Where's the logic in that?[emoji53]

As a 10 year Marine vet, I have absolutely no problem with what he did and apparently The Supreme Court didn't, either.

So the next time you mentioned a draft dodger(s), how bout mentioning John Wayne and Ted Nugent 's name while you're at it. They had no excuse.

RIP to the greatest to ever strap'em up. Rest easy, Champ.

So I guess you're not a fan of John Wayne then, huh?

John Wayne did not dodge the draft. He just did not sign up. He was 34 yrs old and had 4 kids and his career was just starting to take off.

Whether he should have signed up may be one thing but he did not dodge the draft.

As I stated about Ali, John Wayne was a man, not a perfect man. No one is.

I can't say I'm not shocked. Because honestly I didn't know he was still alive. Usually they don't make a movie about someone until after they're gone. I guess that threw me off a little.

                                Ali

I was fortunate enough to meet the CHAMP in est.1990 if i remember correctly, i was 10. He came to the boys club in Arlington and showed a bunch of us some moves, and gave us pointers. Pretty Awesome looking back now, Picture to follow if i can get it to resize. RIP
