That doesent make this any better. An honor student should be able to wear their NHS patch on their stole, and a school should be able to make the rule clear enough for that to be the only exception

Honor students get the honor student stole. However, they can't wear anything else whether it be a specialized honor, or a LGBT pride pin. My understanding is that this rule has been enforced for over 20 years. It isn't something they just started to make a students the same. The media is putting a spin on this.
If this is true, I have no problem.

Wish they had this back in the day when I graduated. I worked hard at being a slacker. Nobody gave me some namby pamby honor roll thingamajig to wear. I'm still scarred that I didn't get recognition for all my hard work at being a juvenile delinquent.

One of our friend's daughter is affected by this. She (the mother) is pretty steamed. They are still allowing the emblems in Frisco according to my daughter. She didn't qualify, but she isn't jealous either.
