Most economical source for moving boxes?

My usual sources have dried up. UHAUL has boxes for sale , but is there a better place near DFW?

Been using large, plastic containers some. They get expensive when you need 30+.

    Any ideas?

I've always gone to HEB, they usually have a bunch (for free). Ask the manager

Maybe find someone giving them away on craigslist. I've tried giving away a couple hundred dollars worth of uhaul boxes on here twice with no luck. Just gotta catch someone at the right time

You could check with places like Conn's.

We just moved and used a lot of boxes. We had the option of running to each mattress firm in the area for boxes since it's my wife's account but when I figured the hassle, I decided to buy them all from Home Depot new.

Their prices beat Lowe's. The average price (once you buy small to extra large) is about a dollar a box.

They are new, heavy duty and held up well.

It's a pain breaking down and traveling with other boxes. I found it easiest to just buy new.

If you go to walmart around midnight or a little after you can grab a cart and just walk around the store and hand pick the boxes you want after they unpack them

But if you don't go right around then they bale all the cardboard and you're screwed till the next night haha

I've got a BUNCH of smallish (approx 15"wx10"dx8t") very heavy duty cardboard boxes that my FIL's medical supplies come shipped in. We were going to cover the floor with them in the house we're building but ended up not needing them. They're yours if you want 'em. I'm in Springtown, approx 25 miles WNW of Ft. Worth.

We used this company when moving. I wouldn't do it any other way after using them. https://www.bronkobox.com/

Thanks for the helpful suggestions guys.

Used to be able to get lots of heavy duty file boxes for free, but thanks to people caught selling them at Traders Village, that ship sailed away.

Liquor store boxes are great. They get the heavy duty boxes that all the booze come in. They're also not usually so big that you struggle to lift them when they're loaded.
