Go back and re-read the other thread. That's not why you got "razed".

Prayers sent. Also this has nothing to do with CHL. He went to his car to get to the gun.

Yes...agreed. I may have stated that the good guy had a CHL....not it seems he may not. TVC is trying to get technical. I was just stating that as a CHL holder...(I) am not going to step in and try to subdue a suspect until I absolutely have no other option. I'm Pro cop for a reason.

Hours ago I assumed he had CHL as well. Or it was crazy coincidence he's riding around with a gun in his car as a shooting is going down.

Either way, I have a wife and two kids at home and under no circumstance will I risk my life my family's life trying to subdue a shooter that is FLEEING a scene and hasn't seen me and has no intention of harming me.

RIP Angell but I wish you were here for mother's day this weekend.

              Correctamundo.

It has absolutely nothing to do with incident even if he possessed one. The handgun was not carried on his person and I was merely wondering about the title of the thread about a CHL fail.

CAVEAT: Of course that is relying on the media getting the story correct which is always up for debate.

A firearm in a vehicle has no requirement of a CHL/LTC. How is this a CHL fail when the dead guy had to go back to his vehicle to get a gun?
Isn't that where the fail is?

The guy didn't have a chl = fail....

If he was legally carrying, he wouldn't have had to go back to his car to get his gun.

Definitely sounds like he went about it the wrong way for sure.

If he was carrying........legal or not, he wouldn't have needed to go back to his truck. Still nothing to do with CHL/LTC.
