If you are trying to kill everything, I use Remedy plus Diesel. It is one of the best for killing tallow trees.

I've found that with Roundup that mixing it at 50-75% of the recommended dosage works better. It takes longer but kills roots and all, a heavy dose kills the tops and not the roots. Just my $.02

Yup you shouldn't mix it too strong! Roundup takes 7-10 days to work

Because it is a chemical, it doesn't do any good to mix it stronger than recommended. In fact, that can lessen effectiveness.
I've also discovered that it has a shelf-life. When it doesn't work for me, its usually last year's jug.

25 percent round up 75 percent diesel in sprayer....i will try dish soap next time....

What about roundup with a little 24D mixed in? I believe you can buy 24D in a quart size without a permit.
