I use the concentrated glyphosate they sell at TSC. It's generic Roundup. I've never had any problems with it killing weeds. You mix it yourself so you can mix it up a little stronger if you want.
Any of the 41% gly's will work. Add some dish wash soap to it ( this acts as a surfactant)
Spray weeds when they are 4-6 inches tall. If taller now them down, but wait 2-3 days after mowing before spraying. Spray mid day and make sure it isn't going to rain for a couple days after. These things will make the killing more consistent. You can also use the blue marker dye, it will help keep you from missing anything and decrease the amount you waste.

X2. That's all we use for fence lines etc. and have no complaints. Usually runs around $60 a jug, but you can catch it on sale for $50
Using it around the fences and down the rock driveway. Where do you get the blue marker dye ?
I like the idea of diesel and roundup
You can get the blue dye at TSC also, but it's expensive. I bought mine online with some other herbicides, but it's not that sporty. I won't buy it again.
Roundup pro max is extremely good stuff already has a sufactrant in it also has rain fast of 30 mins. We use it all the time for spraying roadway edges at work also use it at home. Like others said spray weeds 3-8" for best results don't spray for a few days after a mow, or 7-10 days before. Best time to spray is in the morning when plants are actively taking in moister.
