Elk in Centerville

Leaving my property off C.R. 317 Sunday what looked like two young bull elk crossed the road in front of me and weren't scared when I took the pictures. Maybe with all the rain lately some fence got washed out on a high fenced place in the area. This picture is of one of them.

We had an escaped herd running around our place between Centerville and Madisonville for a few years but I haven't seen them since about 2012

There are elk around that area, a guy from Centerville killed a big bull near there on a high fence ranch.
