    Best Marinades For Beef?

I'm bored with my current marinades that I use all the time. I feel like grilling this evening and I'm wondering what you guys use. I will not be able to marinade for more than a couple of hours. Post up your "go to's" and "award winners" and hopefully I can find a couple to change up my game with!

If you have some good brisket marinades, I do have one in the freezer that I'm thinking of cooking in the near future. And..... Go!

Marinades are for poor cuts of meat to help tenderize them up and flavor them.....

Steak just needs salt/pepper....or if you want to get a little fancy, a dust like Barnacle Dust, Fiesta Uncle Chris' Steak Seasoning, Montreal Steak, Ragin Blaze, Slap Yo Momma, Adams Beef Fajita, etc etc...

I agree with the above, but I'll also add that every once in a while I will marinate my steaks in some Allegro or Dale's and use Montreal's or a new steak seasoning I found. a good ribeye is probably my favorite food in the whole wide world, and I will make it how I want it

and I'll put beans in my chili, if I want to...

        Brisket marinade?

        Say what?

A dry rub like Adams is good. Never used a marinade.

Beans in chili? What planet are we on?

Worchestershire Pepper, Garlic Powder, Montreal and then let it get to room temperature before you throw it on the grill.

My wife used to put beans in her chili.

I cannot afford ribeyes to feed a family of 5. I have to resort to sirloin for the most part.

Try Italian dressing. Place steaks in a Ziploc bag with about 1/2 bottle of Italian Dressing and marinade overnight. Makes for a different and great flavor.

                    weird.

                    Side note:
The only time I put meat in a marinade is when I'm cooking fajitas. They get about 30min to an hour in lime juice/ pineapple juice.

Worchester, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, harley's seasoning salt. Season, then pat on worchester, let sit out until room temp and cook. No need to put in the fridge.

Dales is pretty good but a little salty for my taste and I LOVE salt. Might give the Low Sodium a try next bottle I purchase.

I buy cheap cuts often as well. when I get them home I hit them with coarse sea salt and cracked black pepper. I let them set until room temp. grill until desired doneness (medium rare for me) when I flip it the first time I put a little REAL BUTTER on top, and again when I flip it over again. none of that country crock 70% vegetable oil junk. take em off, let em rest about 10 min. makes even a 5 dollar steak good. I used to marinade, but have been doing this ever since the first time I tried it!
