    Lease available in Polk Co.

In search of 1 to 4 management minded hunters for a small lease in Polk County.

    312 acres in size
    Bow or rifle
    $4,500 per year
There are no other members on this lease. You would have it all to yourself. One person can lease the whole place or up to 4 members.
At this time there is no designated camp site area. No water or electricity.

Hunting restrictions would be up to 2 bucks and 1 doe per membership. The mature buck needs to be atleast a 8pt, 15" to 16" wide, score roughly 125". Were not growing 170" deer but we are trying our hardest to improve the herd and allowing the deer to get up in age to reach their maximum potential.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

        2 bucks and 1 doe.
The mature buck must follow the above restrictions. The smaller buck would be a spike or 3 pt.
        Nearest down is Diboll

I do want to mention that a county dirt road splits this place. I would say there's roughly 225 to 250 acres on one side and the remainder is across the dirt road.

In my past experiences of hunting on two different places that were split by county roads , we had a big problem with road hunters . The types of people who do that know the places to go and do their poaching . To me , if I was interested and liked the area , that would be a deal breaker . Sorry but that`s just how I feel about that type of set up .

The county road that splits this place dead ends about a mile past the lease. There roughly half a dozen homes at the end of the road and a couple of private tracts of land that are hunted by 1 to 2 people. Most people driving on this county road are there for a reason, not poaching. Not saying it couldn't happen. There is also a house at the front of the county road so this isn't the best road to poach on in east texas.
