    People who use Boneview Reader

I just bought one recently, but the app it recommends is kind of hard to use. Do you guys have a favorite app to use with it to view your pictures? I use it on my iphone.

Are you using PhotoFast? When I first started using it there was a problem with it locking up - I just deleted the app and downloaded it again and have had no issues since. If there are other similar apps out there I would like to know as well

No, the one that the reader recommends is called i-Flashdrive HD. There's no huge issues with it besides it being very slow.

It's so much easier to get an extra set of SD cards and just change them out when you go run your cameras.

Then view them back at camp with your laptop on a standard card reader; while you enjoy a cold one.

          No app required...

I just started using it and didn't know I had to format all my cards to FAT32 before my ipad would read them. So I took it 7 hours to the lease and pulled the cards and couldn't look at them. Luckily another member had his laptop with him and I looked at my cards. So, anyone that plans to use it with an apple device be sure to format your cards to FAT32 before putting them in your cameras. Other than that, I did notice it seemed slow once I got home and got it to work.

My favorite time to use the Boneview is when I am actually hunting. I will pull the card, get in the stand and flip through the pics on my iPad mini. I like to see what has been coming in recently, right up to that very day.

I do that also of course. But I check my cameras when I go out to hunt and like to look over the pictures while I'm sitting.

It uses the app I-flashdrive but unless you format to FAT32 it will not read it. I tried it on my iPhone 6 and iPad mini2 and neither would work until I did the format.

                        That’s cool.

We usually pull cards beforehand (midday), to determine where we are going to sit on the next hunt.

That way we know the target deer has been there just hours ago.

I didn't do this and mine works perfect on all cards.

I didn't have that problem either. I just downloaded the app recommended in the instructions
