We fought super high tides, a north wind, and a lot of fresh water for about 22 trout total. Found some small reds, but all the bait was back in the back lakes where the airboat races were going on.

Spent last Thursday and Friday fishing out of Bay Flats. With the tides and wind it was work.

Also not sure what to think of BU's interim hire except for Bennett will be the next to get axed maybe? What are you Baylor guys hearing?

They will eventually. I just felt like the hiring of Grobe meant Bennett would be the next, and shortly.

All I've been hearing thus far is that the hiring of Grobe was solely to get the team through this season. My assumption is that the remaining coaching staff would be kept on until a new hire is made in January of '17. I know that summer workouts started today and the coaches as well as the 10 or so new enrollees participated. There was a team meeting with Grobe and all coaches and players at 7 this morning as well.

His reputation amongst other coaches is about as good as any coach out there which I'm sure played a huge factor in the decision.

I can't imagine the options were very many considering the circumstances.

It's getting ridiculous and needs to stop.
