Aggie spin machine? Many thought this before he decommitted. It'd nor spin if it's fact. His best attribute in my opinion was his recruiting work. But I will always say, if a kid thinks he is bigger than the program, I don't want him.

Let's see, Texas had the top class in the state the last two years and seems to be gaining steam with a few top recruits favoring Texas.

Things will be back to normal in the Lone Star State in a couple of years.

History dictates that even the top programs go through bad stretches.

Normal may be ruined if and when the big 12 collapses. I don't think it will hurt Texas if it does, and it may in fact help them, but then again, it may not. You never know with kids these days. Good god what will this generation be like as adults. I hope my kids change my diaper regularly when they are my age.

Yeah except our class that year didn't have any, so those three taken out of the 247 calculations would of dropped you below us bc we each would of had 27 recruits. See the rankings BEFORE you take out those three guys. I mean if they never step foot on campus and play for your team how can you really count them? So you essentially you are on a 1 year streak with actual players on campus

Being a student and knowing some of the players I was cool with the buddy buddy/stay cool coaching style with sumlin at first but it has never evolved from that in my opinion.... And this is the 2nd or 3rd issue with assistant coaches....

I'm in the camp that he should probably fire the WR coach due to this. There is going to be a considerable amount of fall out IMO. Time will tell I suppose

Oh that should be a absolute guarantee that he's gone.
If a assistant coach wants to step into the light then screwing up the commitments of your 2 top recruits is one for sure way and ****ty way to do it.

In for another mediocre season....

Edit: Hopefuly come the end of October I'll be eating crow on that last statement but not holding my breath
