That is awesome. My wife gets me a calendar every year for Christmas that has the old replica programs for each month. I wish they would go back to those. This month is Texas A&M vs "Texas University" at Kyle Field November 24th 1949.

They really should. The PC police is probably why they don't. I guess Tech wasn't so great in those days. Dad said when they put on the Tech game film the entire team busted out laughing.[emoji1]

He is kind of a tweener at receiver. He is not a blazer, but has good speed. He is not super physical off the line. I think he probably gets evaluated some cause he plays in an offense with awesome talent. He picked up a ton of early offers. My honest opinion is I think A&M had their eyes on other guys at WR and when they didn't feel good about them, they went to the next level of guys like Buckley and picked up the commitment. Buckley probably learned from the Texas offer if he didn't commitment now, his offer may not be committable later in the season especially if some other guys jump on board at A&M. The reason I think this is the June 30th offer, July 1 commit. I had not heard A&M mentioned one time when I had discussion with some CH folks about his recruitment. I would love to have Buckley in the class at Texas so I am not trying to say he is not a good player.

He has wanted to commit to Texas the last couple of months, but the new offense staff at Texas are looking for a different type of player at the spot. Like it has been discussed Texas has a small class so they are being very picky at each position where they can be.
