I believe it's a k500 now. I honestly have so many return boxes that I keep shipping them back in I've lost track. Originally started with the " top of the line" carried at wal- mart.... Now we are dealing with Keurig direct due to mass returns of failed units, and they continue to supply me with coffee coupons for the hundreds of dollars in failed Kcups they go through

I might make 2-3 cups in a row with a unit.... And I might ruin, clean, de scale, reset 7-8 times to get one cup of coffee

I've had 2 cups today.....I've thrown 12 k cups in trash and cleaned system COMPLETELY 4 times today

Had 2 units quit on me. Went with a Hamilton Beach unit that makes regular pots OR uses K cups. I can't remember the model but so far so good.

i have not had a single issue with mud coffee since i started the paper clip trick... not 1 muddy cup since ...maybe just got lucky

Mine was worse

Plus I'm not " paper clipping " a $200 coffee maker, when a $15 don't require me to be mcgyver to make coffee

I used one of the hacks to use the old k cups in our new 2.0 at work and we've had no issues.

Mine works flawlessly if you use the k cups without the "ridges" on the outside. Bs, I know. Luckily all my favorites don't have em.

We have had a Kurig now for 4 years now and it's never given us a problem. Looking at a built in coffee maker that's plumbed in to the water but man they are pricey. In the $2000 range.

When I moved I was concerned about the water in the heating element of our Kuerig. I wanted to completely drain it before the move. You can drain the resovour tank on the side but the water heater still holds water. Checked the instructions and contacted Kuerig and found out there is no way to completely drain the thing. There will always be water in the heater. If you don't use your Kuerig for a long period of time be aware there is old water in it. I have an older unit so this might not apply to newer models.

Well.... it's been almost a year and 7-8 machines and a box of k cups free later I still can't make coffee. Took me $10 today and nothing.


But now my wife gets up at 4:30 to head to the gym instead of me... and she wants and actually drinks the $&@*ing cup now. So I just hand her the full of grounds sludge it makes ��

She has agreed to let me get a simple coffee pot... at Walmart now
