12 cup percolator, at least 15 years old, used everyday. If it ever quits, new one is $30 or so. Had a Keurig but I like a full cup of coffee, not 1/2 a cup, too much hassle for me.

Those labels are BS. If I buy something from a store like WalMart, Target or Amazon and I need to return it, it's going back and they always take it back.

I have a 3 yo unit. Works good. I use HEB Natural Spring Water in it. Coffe is the HEB Texas Pecan cup.

Had the original and used it until it started giving me 1/2 full cups. Replaced it with the bigger Kuerig brand 2.0 machine from WallyWorld. Works like a champ. I use the bold Starbucks flavors - Sumatra, Cafe Verona and French Roast. I like the bold brewing option on the machine. Coffee comes out plenty hot and strong enough to be good. Zero complaints.

I cleaned the original machine thoroughly and it works ok now. I use it at work.

Yep--mine is going strong--and just cleaned/descaled it yesterday. Got a cup of French Roast in-hand now.

Since this thread I've been through 2 upper assembly's..no fix. They sent me a new machine, and no grounds yet... But I have not used any of the coffee I like that was giving the problem.

But yes , it was exploding the filters. My $49.99 keurig that lasted 4 yrs worked.... My $129 " space shuttle" model requires ME to use a $0.01 paper clip and poke a hole... Nice design!!

no argument there ... maybe close the lid - reopen it and close it again would be enough to get the air out as long as it doesn't build up again .. with the tiny hole on the side it can't build up pressure ... which is what ive determined made the filter bust ... why did the old model not do that ? i don't know .. seems like a step in the wrong direction in terms of designs ... but then again we all don't know what or what not hey have been sued over that cause them to re-engineer it..

i was skeptical myself .. but i must say my one cup of coffee my wife brings me in bed every morning is the best tasting coffee and ritual i can no longer do without ...

Keurig makes that cup taste exactly the same every morning with no clean up.

Is it all 2.0? I got the expensive one and have never had any problems. But it only brews 2 cups a day.

On machine #3 now. Worked flawless for almost a week then yesterday started making potting soil again.

Tried the paper clip trick... Holy Geeezzzz that was even worse. Might as well poured it on the floor.

Today I will call back and not quit until I'm reimbursed all the coffee I've wasted on this pile of $&&* and demand another machine. At this point I'll keep taking machines as I'm not out anything but time, and I now find it comical that these hunks of chalk white dog mess actually made it to the shelves.

It could be the actual k cup. We bought McCafe from Sams and or machine started overflowing grounds into the coffee cup.
Tried some Folgers cups from the grocery store and they worked fine. Apparently a bad run of inner filters in that box of K-cups, because we had bought 2 previously.
It's hard to beat the flavor you get with a Keurig.

Had the same problem with the McCafe. Suck...

Went back to community dark roast and all's well. I think my gf is concerned for the machine's safety after the cussing I gave it yesterday..
Those cups are too expensive not to work EVERY time. We're not building rockets here....

For all that is good and holy.... I swear I just want a cup of coffee. On machine #5 now and it's the worst yet. Another NASA model that ain't available in stores. It's their coffee I'm &@$*+ ing up now, so that helps. Still piece of *%#%

I read this thread when it first came up. I haven't had a problem with my 2.0, other than not taking some tea cups we already had.

Which model was your latest?? My wife saw my coffee thread & picked out one of the new 2.0 units & has been Ok so far...I'll need to confirm which model # it is.
