Problems with stand & fill feeders?

If you own any stand & fills is there anything you don't like about them? Moving too easy, tipping over, hogs breaking cages/motors, etc
    Thanks!

I have 3 different brands of them. NOTHING I don't like about them. Have plenty of hogs & no problems from them.

Only problem I have is that I don't own more of them.

Hope to add one every year until that is all I have..

We had one and my brother has 2 and we liked them all a lot. If they fall off the trailer and a car hits them, they don't fair to well though.

I don't own any but there is a certain reason we've always had our feeders up off the ground about 5'.

As long as the hogs can't get to the spinner then you'll be fine. Certainly makes maintenance and filling much easier!

Only complaint I've gotten from anyone is that sometimes it blocks a shot if the animal is behind the bin. As far as tipping over I don't think that's an issue at all with their low centers of gravity..

Do they throw the corn very far? Most of my feeders the sling plate is at least 6' off the ground, they throw fine without a cage, but add a cage and most of the corn does not go very far. Seems like a feeder that is only a few feet off the ground to start with would not be great, then add to it that you must have a cage around it and????

I use smaller (1") square wire on the cages I make and have no spreading/distance problem, even with 6v. I think these 12v stand n fills will sling it plenty far.

                            Very limited obstruction.

Love our stand and fill feeders, they handle a lot of abuse. 800lbs with a varmint cage and eliminator spin plate allows for us to throw year round on very few fill-ups.
