I have 3 that are 500 lb capacity and are directional throw made by Monarch in Fort Worth. Been happy w em so far and throws the corn exactly where you want it so no deer are eating behind the feeder. If you call and ask for a cash price, they'll give you around a 10% discount. Comes with 12v battery and solar panel for around $500. It was the best bang for the buck when I was looking last year.

I have two Krivoman directional stand and fills. Mine do not pile up corn because they shoot the corn out the side of the feeder. Animal's don't hide behind it because the feeder is set back in the bushes and shoots the corn out into the open. The only problem I see is I like them so much that now I have to spend more money to replace all my other feeders with these.

This is my 1st year to use them, but we have them in Ks. I could see a Hog bumping corn off spinner plate all day. I would use a spintech set up if I used them here in TX.

Anyone seen the hogs tear up the cages around these stand n fills?

We have 4 of the 1000 lb HB feeders and I wish I would have found them before purchasing the other elevated bulk feeders. If feeding a few elevated feeders it would not be a problem but it sure makes bulk feed easy and safe or any feed for that matter. We are covered up in hogs and they have not done any damage other digging around them. The areas that are thick with pigs we have now built pens and no problems. These same areas were problematic with elevated feeders as well. I would recommend any of the stand and fills. I really like the idea of Krivos directional but we have not had a problem with corn stacking up at the base.

No....the cages on most of these are very heavy duty. They will dig holes under the feeders as someone else mentioned. One of mine sits over a large flat rock....so, they are unable to dig a hole under that feeder.

If I ever changed to stand and fills, I'm going directional feeder. It just seems like a better concept that low.

One of our members has a few and they really do a great job of spreading the corn at that height..

We have an All Seasons stand and fill. I much prefer it to filling feeders from a ladder or the back of a ranger. The only 2 things I dislike are 1) the varmint cage is kind of useless. Coons still screw with the timer box and I've watched many squirrels crawl through it and eat corn off the spinner plate and 2) corn seems to pile up right under the feeder. For whatever reason, deer and hogs are just reluctant to stick their necks under it.
                          Everything else is great.

To hell with climbing a ladder to fill feeders, the only way to go is a stand and fill, we have pens around all of ours because of all the hogs, they will sling corn in a 0 to 25 foot radius.

We had a slight mishap while hauling one a few weeks ago and it got pretty bent up. Not wanting to spend another $600 I beat it to fit and painted it to match and I think it turned out alright.

We have several on our lease and have been satisfied with them

I like the idea and ease of filling. If I ever go that route they will be directional though.
