Pitch a fogger in the blind if wasps make a nest and you can't spray it.

I just use half a strip in the blind then cut the other half into two pieces and stick a small part inside the spinner box of the feeder and also attach a small piece inside the barrel -- keeps the wasps and scorpions out nicely.

I may have some old Saints headgear you can borrow during hunting season

This is what I was thinking. A paper bag filled with paper and a hornet gets in there and thinks he's back home! Who gets to check out the sack before the season?

This thread has the potential for a long run.

Was thinking about trying in pop ups but may go the cow ear tag approach. Hang one from top hub and one under each chair. Now only if there was a proven snake deterrent...
My experience was it left a sticky residue on everything.

Good info. I like the cattle ear tag idea.

Never seen anything like that from any of the strips I have used anywhere in my camper, house or blinds even in pop ups.

These didn't work for us, even with two of them per blind the wasp/hornets/winged Devils kept coming in.

Going to try the ear tags this year.

My wife saw the brown bag thing last year. We put one on our back porch. We have red wasps and wood bees. It kept the wood bees away but the red wasps stayed.

I've used the cattle tags before, they work great. My wife painted the ceiling of her stand sky blue and wears wasp won't make a nest on the blue paint. So far she's been right.

I heard the other day that moth balls in the blind will keep wasps out. Might give that a try.

All the old timers around here had the ceiling of the porch painted sky blue, seems to work great. I think it will also help keep the mud birds from building there. Never thought about doing that to a blind.

about every 3-4 months, i will take demon max in a 2gal pump sprayer and hit the deer camp trailer and my blind. keeps everything out of the trailer and the blind.

Put a bag up last year.
there was a little decrease in the wasp and hornet population...but it seemed to attract ugly chicks and winos.

A guy who had a lumber yard in Austin told me about that years ago as I remember he crumpled it up first then blew in it and hung it said it worked.
