Just go to any rodeo. Funny story. We were at a rodeo, I think in Junction, and this cat and a couple of his buddies came strutting into the dance wearing rodeo chaps. They were talking to some gals and me and a couple of buddies walked over and started playing dumb. They were bragging how they were big rodeo cowboys etc. At this point a crowd kinda gathered around I guess thinking these dudes were some kinda rodeo stars. I asked the loud one how did he do and he went on to brag how he won the bareback that night etc... I nonchalantly reached into my wallet and pulled out a check and said " Thats funny because I have a check made out to me saying otherwise." Everyone around them started laughing , the girls especially. Those clowns finally just left the dance with people laughing calling them merry-go champions of the night.

That's funny. Wife and I were in the Ft. Worth Stockyards in January and saw a bunch of spurs. Some looked legit and some...well, not so legit.

God I hope not.......I grew up wearing mine quite a bit. Not to get attention but because I was horseback about 12 hours a day........

If I just got done working cattle then Yes. My spurs stay on my working boots, I never take them off. If I need to go somewhere and if I wasn't on horseback that day, I'll wear another pair, shoes or flip flops.

I have idiots in my home town like that. How hard is it to unstrap them and then strap them back on. Now one thing that really bothers me is when someone's pants are pulled up setting on the top of their boots, can't stand that unless you are having to walk in water or something .

No more low class than stacks or ghost trailer mirrors-different strokes for different folks.
