Is it low class to wear spurs inside a public place?

No disrespect to you guys that do, but I think I heard that somewhere in Texas raising? Some of the Cowboys feel free to chime in. Genuine question.

If you just got off your horse and you're going in somewhere to pick something up real quick, and then you're headed back out to get back in the saddle.... no problem.

If you're just wearing them for attention...... different story.

I don't see how it would be any different than a hunter walking into a public place with his camo and rubber boots still on.

See it almost every day in north Texas. Doesn't bother me.

          What kind of public place?
Restaurant? depends on the size of the wait staff.

I thought of this. It's what you got on and that's fine. Thanks guys!

Depends on what you've been doing and where you're headed. I've caught myself in HEB with em on. Just forgot. But low class? Nah.

Agree.. You usually you can tell one from the other pretty easy. Back in college there were a couple of wanna be's that wore spurs everywhere including class. Always starched up ready to go to a dance . Complete idiots.

Those are easy to spot without Spurs. Just go to the Houston Livestock Show.

I've seen several through the years and never considered it anything but a working man in his work clothes. Now if I saw him at a bar in Northside, then I'd be more inclined to call him Bud or Sissy......
