I know sushi and sports bar don't sound like it should go together but it's actually some of the better sushi. One of those don't knock it till you try it kinda places.

Fun Things to do in Austin:
#1 Leave. At least that has been my favorite. But then again I have only been there to work for the most part.

Pretty much. Austin is like a bowl of cereal. Take away the fruits and nuts and all that's left are the flakes.

              LOL.

From the cover of Texas Monthly:

The City of the Eternal Boom And the eternal festival. And the eternal traffic jam. And the eternal tech start-up. And the eternal food truck. And the eternal buzz. So how did Austin go from being a sleepy haven for pot-smoking slackers to the most talked-about place in the country—if not the world? - See more at: http://www.texasmonthly.com/the-cult....QD8ZKEn5.dpuf

Franklin's is good but not worth the wait good. I would drive to Lockhart to eat BBQ before going to Franklins.

Whatever you do in Austin, do it between 10-2pm otherwise, the traffic sucks the life and joy out of it.

I'm downtown at 7th and Lavaca right now and it seems quieter than it has been though. It will change shortly.

There is no S in Franklin BBQ.

J Mueller's is just as good, better beef ribs. less wait.

Also, Kent Black's and Hays County in San Marcos are as good as any.

Smitty's is my favorite in Lockhart.

You know whats interesting Mr. Charlie, and caught me by surprise; but I saw three 30.07 signs on Congress yesterday, and not a single 30.06 sign. I hardly ever go on Congress, and would have guessed there would have been more liberal anti-gun signage than what I saw. Don't get me wrong though, I'm SURE you would attract some attention if your 2nd amendment was showing.
