Fun things to do in Austin

We are headed to Georgetown and then Marble Falls, any must see things around these areas? We are going into Austin in the morning

The wildflowers are beautiful around the Highland Lakes right now. Inks Lake State Park would be a good stop.

Took the wife and kid to blue hole in Georgetown Tuesday. There is a neat little hike trail that goes up the river. We did that and then let the kid play in the river after.

Take Morman Mill road ( CR 340) from Burnet to Marble Falls. Real pretty drive this time of year.

600 degrees pizza in Georgetown is good. pizza and wings and like 30 kinds of beer. Monument cafe is super popular but has gotten a little over rated lately, they own a Mexican food place that is about the same, popular but over rated. Dos salsas Mexican is good.

600 degrees has really good pizza. You can buy it by the slice, the slices are HUGE, and they have a bunch of beer.

Dos Salsas is good mexican food.

I agree, it went down hill quick after they moved from the small original location.

If you haven't been and have time, don't pass up Franklins BBQ. I say time "loosely" because you'll be in a waiting line hours before it opens, but it was worth it!
