What I have gathered is something 2.5-5 watts does the trick and keeps it fully at 9

Having Real Time "on" keeps the cameras receiver on and running all the time. It allows you to send commands and have the camera receive/execute them immediately. It is a massive battery hog.

Covert camera wireless App?
Ok, I got my warranty replacement camera and decided to go ahead and set it up to see how I like it. Is there a setting somewhere in the app to turn off notifications? I know it's probably simple to turn off but I'm having a brain fart.
1st thing I noticed is the battery compartment is improved from previous models and the seal seems to be better. I also noticed that you can open the camera with the solar panel attached now so no internal batteries are needed. It will not work with a panel on the T-Mate camera mount though as the panel port is too far toward the back of the camera now.
Top camera is my new one and bottom camera is the 2015. I'm going to leave them like that a little while to compare how they work.

I figured out how to save the image to my device.
This new model boasts a faster trigger speed but look at these two pictures. The top picture is the 2015 model and caught the car coming down the driveway quickly. The second picture is the 2016 camera and barely caught the car before it was out of the frame.
Also, it takes more steps to use the app than it does to use the 2015 model. Maybe I'll get used to it.

Ok after having both cameras side by side for a couple of days the 2016 does not perform as well as the 2015. I got several false triggers today from the 2016 and none from the 2015. Also the range on the 2015 is much better than the new one. The first set of pictures is of my wife then me getting home from work. The 2015 caught us while still on the driveway. The second pictures are from the 2016 which didn't catch us until we were both well into the yard.

what is your sensitivity set on? I was reading through the manual and it shows to set it on high when the temp is above like 85...am I reading it right?
