We planted our peppers, tomatoes, and trying baby corn this year. We have a small garden so we aren't hard core like ya'll. Ha!

No way do you plant this early up here. You are just asking to replant. We are not thru with winter just yet!!!

Planted some purple sugarcane two weeks ago. Will plant heirloom tomato's and squash seeds inside tomorrow to get them started. Plan to plant after springbreak or first weekend in April. Small garden as we never pick anything .............but it looks good!!!

I totally went the easy route. Bought one tomatillo plant and put it in a pot! I may round it out with some peppers later this week. Hopefully our orchard will make an abundance this year!

I have potatoes, squash, watermelons, and onions in. Maybe a few others too. Also added a strawberry rack that is planted and built a strawberry tower that will get planted this week. My kids love strawberries.

Tell me more about the strawberry tower. We planted some inside last week, but we've never done them before.

The tower is new. My mom saw it on pinterest. It is 4 cedar fence posts screwed together. I drilled 54- 2 1/2" holes in it. Put a piece of pvc with holes cut in it down the middle and I will water through it. I will pull all those pucks out when I plant it and maybe save them just in case. Putting them back in was to help me fill it with dirt and not lose so much of it. It will be much easier with this to keep the birds off my strawberries.

A girl at the feed store told me to do the stacked tire potato garden. Anyone got a pic or a how to of this? Already got peppers and onions planted. A cilantro plant too

I'm waiting until Spring Break to plant the tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc. Have onions, radishes, and lettuce going right now along with cilantro. I'm fairly certain we will get a good freeze/storm up this way in March.

Looking great guys. After years of improving my gardening ground we are selling our place and moving down the road. I really dread the idea of the amount of time it will take to improve the ol' red clay in the bottom we are moving to. I really don't have time for a garden this spring since we are moving but I figured I'd go ahead and break up the new ground and give it a half hearted go this year.

The pic doesn't show it but I've now got 2 rows of potatoes and onions in the ground. Oh and there are 2 piles of 18 tons of composted dead chickens right off to the left just waiting to be tilled in.

Nice. I don't have that much space, but after my experience with raised beds, have you ever looked into square foot gardening? A lot less time, less space, and still get the production. The only thing I can't grow in them is corn.
