earth anchor/cable stakes (google it). Put it where the coon can't wrap around anything, and tangle up.
Just un-clip the trap and leave the cable in the ground. (or they pull out, too)

Man that IS slick! Have a few feedpens that would work in. Not so sure about the rocky one's.
