    Anyone work for USPS?

I bought some stuff off of ArcheryTalk that was mailed out last Wed. Last tracking shows that it left Warrendale, PA last Friday, the 10th at 4am. Shows delivery date as Tuesday the 16th. No updates and no delivery. I called the local PO and they are no help and the number for the Warrendale place always tells me that my call cant be completed no matter what time I call. The 800 number for USPS is worthless. Ive always heard of other people having issues but have never had any myself beyond the item being a day or so late but the tracking usually updates. Ive had a couple of times where tracking didn't update but the items were delivered on time. Anybody have any similar problems? If so, what action did you take and was it resolved? Also if you or anyone you may know that works for a PO or something and may can help please pm me and Ill get you my tracking number. Thanks in advance.

No, in CA they only hire woman and minorities at USPS.
There's an Asian guy who works behind the counter I'm not kidding you his name tag says "Bong".

    Carry on.

I use USPS all the time and have pretty good luck with them. I bought something on ebay last week and they shipped it USPS. I ran the tracking number on the 18th to see where it was and it said "Expected Delivery Date 2/16/16 ... Status: On time". I guess their definition of "on time" and mine are different. It did finally show up here though.

USPS is hit or miss. my experience is their tracking doesn't update until AFTER you delivery has made it to destination, if at all.

USPS does have some terrible customer service. At work we ship a lot of stuff out USPS and UPS. UPS rarely ever has issues except during winter storms when there are delays which is understandable. USPS can get packages lost any place, any time. Sometimes the beat up package gets returned to a few months later but usually we never see it again. Sometimes things do get stolen on the porch.

Glad you brought this up. I mailed something USPS Priority on the 12th to New Jersey. Just some random stuff I sold on Ebay. Shipped on the 12th, went out for delivery on the 16th, but is still showing not delivered. Can't for the life of me find anyone that can help. Just hoping they didn't lose it, because I imagine claiming insurance would be a nightmare.

I had something delivered to me recently that showed up in the tracking as undeliverable address but I received it....I don't know if it was insured or not, I hope so.

I worked for them for 23yrs, from a letter carrier all the up to postmaster. When my kids were grown I got the h*** out of there! Worst place in the world to work, ran by a bunch of morons.

Any idea on how to begin to track a package that hasn't arrived? Called the main 800 number and it was over an hour wait time...

I had some stuff shipped from Iowa to Texas last year. Made it to Texas in a couple days then sat in the North Houston location for a couple weeks. It was a mess, and I will never use them for anything other than traditional mail again

I have never had an issue. I think I will pay extra from now on and request ups. Justwentto the PO and they won't even try to help, they just tell me what I already know.
