What say you green screen. When do you start getting excited by a rack?

When I first hear a stick break behind me, and I envision the monster buck that's about to walk out.

When I smell that backstrap cooking Not really, I passed this deer twice this year in Trinity Co., but I would have perforated him on my lease in Rusk Co. Depends on what's running around your place

I think to me it has more to do with head gear as it relates to body size. There is a saying that big deer are impressive even when they are little. If an unknown 3 yr old walks out with 130+ inches on his head he will make you bring your binos up in a hurry. That same 130 in rack doesnt look like much on a 6 yr old, 200 lb deer.

I'd love to hunt with you in East Texas sometime! HA!

Something about seeing those older bucks, when they walk in and you know they run the place.
Couldn't agree more. What gets my heart pumping is when I see a group of deer all look up in the same direction and move out of the way of the big boy because he DOES run the show . That's my cue to get nocked and loaded

A live weight 200 lb buck will cause me to nock an arra.
Can't eat them horns no matter what his age or weight.

I shot a 134" 4.5 year old 8 point (the one in my avatar) in cass county on the opening morning of rifle season and I have to admit I was pretty dang excited for that one.

A 130+ 8 is an accomplishment! Nice buck.

When she starts whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

For me it's all relative to the area I'm hunting. The area I hunt now, anything over 130" does it for me.

                              I agree.

What a load of BS. You need him to be at 15 yds or less for you to consider using your bow.
