That being said, the traditional forum in my opinion needs to be kept separate. There are a several of us that do hang out at ATC and Trad, but not all Trad folks do. A lot of trad folks hang out at other trad sites. But the Trad forum on TBH is way different than other dedicated trad fourms out there. I have wondered if I needed to join other trad sites over the past couple years, but the honest truth is I have found no reason to. The TBH trad forum is a family of traditional bow hunters who love to hunt Texas. Because there is another area of the site that discusses all sorts of random stuff, people feel they can post that stuff elsewhere and leave the trad forum to trad centric questions. If it gets mingled together, I'd be concerned that traditional hunting knowledge would get lost and fade away from TBH. I would then need to join a trad specific site.

I can honestly say, that if TBH didn't have a sperate trad forum... I'd probably not have gotten into trad... and that would be a darn shame.

If you have never shot trad, hunted trad, tuned a trad bow, you simply cannot appreciate the vast difference between hunting with a trad bow and a compound bow. There are so many differences. Often times you really need a guide... and the TBH Trad forum (I should say family) serves as a guide for TBHers.

I am certain I am mumbling here... but if you do consider getting rid of the trad forum... please drop us a line. I don't think it would be good for TBHers who are wanting to become traditional bowhunters. I really think it would be detrimental rather than positive.
I feel.the same way about e&t. But no big deal. I never look at the tuning part at Archerytalk.
