I admit that I half chuckled at this

But on a serious note, the OP didn't ask for money, nor did he ask for new tools. He asked if you're replacing old tools/etc, he would love to have them

OP, I'm not sure if you can PM yet, but shoot me your name and address if/when you can, and I'll throw something together for you. I've got a few older hand tools that I don't use much, maybe you can use them to tinker around and fix something and get some satisfaction from it

In a public forum setting I hope you can respect me not putting all my personal and private information here. I am sure you would not do the same. If you feel you need to know my personal history and research me feel free to PM me and I will provide what information you need. I felt the post was longer than it should be and I didn't know exactly how to convey years of events into a small post.

Why did you pick MACV-SOG for your screen name? I have/had friends in MACV-SOG so just curious.

I'll have to check my shop for tools I no longer need.
The neurosurgeon that did my surgery was Paul C Francel in Oklahoma City, OK. I was experiencing several complications after the surgery and he kept putting everything off stating it will take a very long time for improvement to occur. I finally contacted the attorney and he sprang the bad news that he was already sued by many people for the same thing and he had nothing left to go after and his medical license was surrendered to the Oklahoma Medical Board.

As for the name "macVsog" - my father has passed but the total admiration and respect for everything they did.

I may have worded my post incorrectly for some.

I'm not expecting anything from anyone.

I was just trying to convey the best I could that some people buy new tools that are replacing their older or broken tools.

I was just hoping for possible consideration to donate those tools that are being replaced or no longer being used. If they are broken it will just give me something to try and fix. They will be put to good use here and only here. Also, if you are ever in the Norman, OK area, you are more than welcome to stop by.

          Thanks!

            Sorry for your troubles.

PM me with your name, address and phone number, and I will see what extra tools I can scrounge up in my shop.

How long ago was your skydiving accident? What kind of work did you do before the accident?

I really would like to thank the community for your support. You all have been amazing.

I know I'm new here and live in Oklahoma (don't hit me), but I was raised in Corpus Christi and Houston. When I was adopted I moved to Oklahoma and been here since. Hoping someday moving back to Texas - really do miss it.

Once again, thank you and have a great week!
